Description In 1982 the world of technology and world culture was put on display at EPCOT Center. Originally planned as a futuristic community for thousands to live in, the theme park became more of a world's fair to show off what human innovation really meant.Quote reads:“To all who come to this place of joy, hope and friendship - welcome.EPCOT Center is inspired by Walt Disney's creative vision. Here, human achievements are celebrated through imagination, the wonders of enterprise and concepts of a future that promises new and exciting benefits for all. May EPCOT Center entertain, inform and inspire. And, above all, may it instill a new sense of belief and pride in man's ability to shape a world that offers hope to people everywhere.E. Stephen Christ, Chicago Member Since October 2010 Artist Statement I am an industrial designer and model maker from Chicago, IL. I attended Purdue University and was a Chick Evans Scholar. After spending most of my college career working with 3D art, I have started doing side projects designing 2D posters. The retro travel posters from the 50s and 60s have been my favorite inspiration so far, and I enjoy putting my own spin on that style. My vector art Disney posters are limitless, and I will keep adding more to the collection in the future.
