Description This is a photograph from the Mezzanine of a 1912 Victorian style hotel in Utica, NY. The ornate structures and rich mahogany interiors lit by the glow of dim chandeliers. The history of this old hotel is as amazing as it's beauty. Judy Garland sang from this mezzanine and Mickey Mantle signed autographs out front. President Franklin Roosevelt, Hopalong Cassidy, Mae West, and Marilyn Monroe are just a few of the many famous guest that have left a presence here ...If these walls could talk...I can't describe the feeling I got when walking through this hotel. I felt blessed to be there and walked the empty mezzanine at midnight to capture its beauty. I swear I could feel the presence of the past..the faint sounds of music from the ballroom, the women in their beautiful dresses...It was my imagination, but a feeling I'll never forget ~ Amazing
