Artist Statement My mind is rambunctious , my imagination wild and aloof like mountain top rainfall. And so you get wet.

Most my life I have been suspiciously observed by "big brother" and "big sister". So I decided that if I was constantly being watched, that I would teach them to be more conscious. :)

I began drawing dinosaurs and comics in grade school.
I drew and painted inspired murals on walls when I was fifteen.
I also developed a lovely signature which I shared with the public by scribbling and scrawling it just about everywhere.
So I got in trouble some times for "defacing" public property.
My intention was to skillfully share beautiful and inspiring art.
They told me I was "angry" and gave me labels.

Throughout high school I studied martial arts and repeatedly read the New Testament. I was introduced to graphic design in a commercial art class that I attended through a local career education center.
My favorite university courses were philosophy and eastern mysticism.

Around 1989 I got a job working at the university bookstore upon entering college. In 1992 I visited the Virgin Islands for a semester as an exchange student and toured west Africa the following summer. In 1993 I graduated with a bachelors degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in studio art.

I taught myself HTML in 1994 during my spare time while working as an academic adviser at the university from which I graduated. I became a web developer in 1995 and began to immerse myself in the ethereal mindscapes of cyberspace. Essentially my love for reading, writing and freedom keeps me involved in web development.

I mostly enjoy working alone, without distractions and without interruptions. And playing with other people. I have no problem delegating after I've finished thinking for myself and making up my own mind. I do not entertain people or seek prominence. My lifestyle is quiet and private except when I get angry and begin yelling.

With the income I receive from selling my art prints I intend to exercise financial freedom, make up for lost time and perform impact investments to empower people.
