Description Jay Cooke State park offers a multitude of beautiful natural scenes. This is at a bend in the river. The slab of rock in the middle is an example of the geologic history of the river. These slabs were pushed through molten up from the layers of rock below over time. The provide great diagonal contrast to the flow of the river and are very interesting.
