Artist Statement First of all I want to thank you for your interest in my gallery. Over the past ten or so years I have deeply enjoyed producing art on the computer and found a great sense of satisfaction in doing so. In high school, however, I found an interest in computer programming as well. Having moved on to college I found that I really enjoyed working with computers and put my dreams of being a graphic designer on the back burner in order to pursue a career that would pay me back the most for my time and effort. Over the course of the next two years, however, I found myself working long hours and finding a lack of satisfaction and pride in my work. Frustrated and trying to realize my dreams as college quickly moved by, I decided once again to pursue my dreams of being an artist. Having never taken a formal art class, I surprised my professors and peers, but most importantly myself, with my artistic skills and talents, and found that I enjoyed both graphic design and fine art. Having lived in Florence, Italy for a semester and having experienced all that this romantic city had to offer, I have gained a deep respect for the art of the past but look forward to producing art for the future. At this point in my life I can say that I am the most satisfied that I have ever been and, although I have much to learn in my final year of schooling, I feel that I have made the right choices and I hope that my art can reach out to the world and be enjoyed by others. Thank you again for taking the time to look at my gallery and to find out more about me. I truly appreciate your support!

Sincerely, John
