Animation Resources, Hollywood, CA Member Since February 2009 Artist Statement Animation Resources is building an online library and digital archive devoted to the art of animation. Located in Los Angeles, CA, the archive includes an extensive collection of films and artwork for the use of researchers, students, artists and the general public.
The collection isn't an archive OF animation... It's an archive FOR the use of artists working in the animation industry. In addition to animation artwork, the collection includes comic strips, comic books, print cartoons, illustration and educational materials. Animation Resource is dedicated to tell the history of cartooning through the stories of the artists who built the artform.
We are proud to be able to feature these great artists and offer examples of their work for sale as fine art prints. One half of your purchase price goes to support Animation Resources, a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization.
