Description Paul and Silas were beaten and imprisoned in Acts 16. They spent their time in the inner cell praising God with songs and prayer. Even when their chains were shook loose and the door opened, they stayed in their cell and praised Him. The guard doesn’t kill himself because of their trust in the Lord. The guard even receives salvation because of these events! Some people (a lot of people) have had very rough lives or situations occur in their lives where the response is something along the lines of, “Why me God? Why do you let terrible things happen to me?” We could all learn from Paul and Silas here. God’s plan is divine and far from our comprehension. Who are we to question Him?Original Painting is acrylic on 48” X 24” stretched canvas.
