Description Color can give emotion to many objects. Many people like horses and have mixed emotions when they see a horse. The colors I used were to give viewers an emotional response of freedom and a wild spirit in the horse.
Clayton Creel, Wyoming Member Since March 2013 Artist Statement I live in the mountains around Yellowstone National Park and most of my art is inspired by the wildlife, lifestyle, and landscape of the rocky mountains. I have always tried to make my art look as realistic as possible. The last few years my art teachers have been trying to get me to paint abstract scenes. At first it was hard to give up the way I see things, then I realized I could use real form and texture but use bright, unrealistic colors that catch the eye. I plan to continue this study of color for the rest of the year (mostly). I want to thank everyone who takes interest in my work and I hope you will want it hanging from your wall!
