Description The American nuclear family at it's best, circa 1957-58... the International Geophysical Year. Technology was advancing at a rapid pace, surely paving the way for an even better way of life, just like every new product promised as soon as it hit the shelves. Americans ate it up, even as the threat of nuclear proliferation loomed at every turn. Why do you think they called the TV show Happy Days?
