DescriptionI work with all medias, that are disposal at me to create a high-class XXL-Print: The mouse is my brush and the monitor is my canvas, single focused parts I paint with crayons or acrylic to scan them or I use a graph tablet. At the beginning I`d scanned photographs of my original Arts into the Computer to print them. But quality and size necessitated to rectify the pictures with computer-aided design and I made the experience, that it wasn`t the same picture at last. Therefore I began to paint my ideas directly with the mouse and I am appreciated of the varied options that are offered by this kind of artworks.
Anne Weirich, Ingelheim Member Since May 2009 Artist Statement I think that a picture can give the world a smile as a newborn baby - artless and self-forgotten, because it knows no yesterday and no tomorrow
and may be complete the blinck of an eye. So like the artist by painting it.
I was born in Bad Kreuznach/Germany in 1957
Main studies in psychology and ethnology in Münster and Bonn
Most pictures that I draw I collect of my work as a psychotherapist with psychic and mental images and inner pictures of hypnosis from my clients. They want to be healthfully imaginations.
I freely move between traditional painting technologies and
the modern digital world and serves me universally of the
richness of artistic possibilities to give an external figure to the internal pictures.
