Artist Statement Hello! My name is Roman Popov and I am glad to see you on these pages which are devoted to my creativity. I took the my first photocamera in hand when I was 7 years old. I tested myself in various genres and styles since then. But photos of the nature and landscapes remained interesting to me all the time. I began to earn money by means of the camera with 2006. The wedding and portrait photo were the main sources of the income for me long time, but I made the decision to return to sources and to concentrate the efforts to Nature Fine Art Photography and I achieved certain successes in it.

I participated in a number of photo exhibitions in the various cities of Russia:
- "Stop the instant — you are beauty" is my debut photo exhibition in 1998, devoted to the nature of the native land.
- "Photo exhibition of independent photographers of Novosibirsk" in 2004, Novosibirsk, Russia. I submitted some landscape photos on this exhibition.
- "Deposit of Light" Is the Landscape and Nature Fine Art Photography exhibition in the city of St. Petersburg, Russia, in 2006. I was admitted to League of photomasters of St. Petersburg by results of my participation in this exhibition.
- Charitable photo exhibition for fund raising on treatment of musician Alexey Kostyushkin. Rostov, Russia, 2012. I submitted 10 photos which illustrate songs of this author.
- "Sketches on a canvas by means of light" is the personal photo exhibition of landscape and nature fine-art photography devoted to the 80 anniversary of the town in which I was born. Taishet, Russia, 2013
