Artist Statement I was born in Germany. When I was 8 our family moved to Lima, Peru, where I lived about 12 years. With 14 I began to paint. Now I'm back in Germany again, working as a teacher an a self-taught photographer.

Three years ago I began to take macro photographs of metallic surfaces, trying to give them a new appearance or at least a metaphoric meaning.
I would like to transform scratches and cracks into expressive lines and figures, rust into flowers and, last but not least, old warplanes into abstract paintings! Let’s call it a kind of inner recycling. Let’s change the (metallic) world!
