Min Zhe, York Member Since May 2007 Artist Statement I am a 2002 graduate of York Suburban High School in York, PA. During high school, I actively participated in student council, National Honor Society, the German Honor Society, Cross Country and Track as well as the school choir and select singing group, the York Suburban Singers. I was also selected to participate in the Elizabethtown College Honor Choir (for high school students) my freshman year and the York County Honor Choir my Junior and Senior years. In the summer of 2001, I traveled to Europe with the Pennsylvania Ambassadors of Music, visiting the UK, Germany, Switzerland, and France.
In 2006, I graduated from the University of Richmond in Richmond, VA. During my time at the University, I helped co-found the co-ed a cappella group Off the Cuff, serving as the organization's Business Manager/President and Treasurer as well as organizing its first studio recorded album and taking the cover-art photography. I also served as the secretary of the pre-law fraternity (Phi Alpha Delta) and was a member of the History Honor Society (Phi Alpha Theta).
Much of the photography I will feature on this site will be inspired by my time on the beautiful campus of the University of Richmond. Often times described as the "country club campus," the University of Richmond is truly a wonderful place for photography.
