Description This Baltimore Inner Harbor Panorama Photograph has been used in many websites, publications, a Baltimore Sister-Cities display in Rotterdam, and even on the side of a commercial truck. This series of five images stitched together is almost historic in nature. It was shot nearly a decade ago - can you spot any changes to the skyline? I took this shot of downtown Baltimore from the top of Federal Hill, a park which overlooks the Baltimore Inner Harbor.
Bill Swartwout, Fenwick Island, DE Member Since April 2007 Artist Statement Welcome to one of my homes on the Web. Photography has been a part of me for 50+ years. I grew up in a small family that moved around the country a lot. I did wedding photography and aerial photography to work my way through college. Thus, my affinity for travel and pictures.
Mother Nature is my favorite artist. I endeavor to share some of her creations in my landscape and seascape photographs.
Today, our Internet business involves travel - and we do like to travel. I have been accumulating imagery of places we have been and am selecting some of the more interesting shots to illustrate those places. My favorites, of course, are my of former home town Baltimore and where I now reside at the beach in West Fenwick, Delaware, just north of Ocean City, Maryland. At the beach photograph water and boardwalk scenes and bridges and jetties with varying light qualities. In the "big city" I enjoy the myriad styles of building architecture and, always, the touristy images. Bon Voyage.
