Description Dallas, Texas USA --A very rare TP-51C (aka P-51 Mustang). Today there are less than five of the early B/C models left flying. The C model is easily recognizable by it's razorback configuration as opposed to the P-51D with its bubble canopy that came out later in the war. Betty Jane is owned and flown by The Collings Foundation
Andie Smith, Plano, Texas Member Since December 2008 Artist Statement Andie Smith is a Dallas-based freelance photographer, specializing in commercial and fine art photography.
Andie’s favorite artistic expression has always been photography. As a child, she fell in love with the art while vacationing with her family. Even now, when she looks at those photos, she is instantly transported back in time to experience those moments again – the sights, the sounds, the smells, the people.
She realized photography was more than just a hobby while studying graphic design at The Art Institute – Dallas. Andie knew she had the skills to succeed as a photographer, so she jetted off to southern Florida where she studied photography at The Art Institute – Fort Lauderdale.
The majority of Andie’s work is in commercial and fine art photography. Her commercial clients include publications such as Better Homes and Gardens and Creating Keepsakes Magazine to Madator Travel.
Andie’s favorite photography subjects are aircrafts and Americana (especially main streets).
