DescriptionIt's hard being left behind. ... It's hard to be the one who stays.~Audrey NiffeneggerI only got a brief glimpse of this bird as it flew off, but I think it was and Eastern Flycatcher, in its nest along side the pond in Lake Estates, Phillipsport, New York, USA. The rain poured down this day and she held tight to that nest until I made her uncomfortable and she fled...I left promptly allowing her to return soon after.Image was photographed in color, converted to Black and white, and textures were applied behind and in front of the image for some color with a silhouette appearance. Composed in Photoshop.
