Description'Blooming TCells'HIV has been a reality that we cannot avoid. Day by day many people get infected all over the world, but despite that fact there have been a lot of new discoveries and new medicines that have made possible for HIV positive people to have normal lives. However, attitude is something that has been decisive from infected people at fighting against the HIV virus in their bodies. 'Blooming TCells' was made, within mandala frameworks (circles), in honor of all those people that have gotten infected and that haven't given up fighting against the HIV virus in their bodies. This kind of people appear in this painting running from a state of passivity to a state of action. On the contrary, there are people that have just given up and have let let the HIV virus kill all their defenses (TCells) and those are the ones that appear in the circles just laying down. All the geometric figures that appear inside the circles represent all the issues and chaos that many HIV positive people have to deal with. Every circle represents every little world that each HIV positive person has to deal with. In between circles there are the Lesbian Gay and Trangender flag colors, which basically show how the gay world has been one of the most affected by the HIV virus in the latest years.Made with color pencils, color pastels, black ink and water paint on cardboard paper, 'Blooming TCells' is a testimony to the world of how HIV is not a death penalty, but the beginning of a new life style for many people that really believe that life goes on and that they can success despite having gotten infected by HIV.
