Artist Statement Hi

I guess this is where I'm supposed to tell you all about me.

Alli Cullimore, born in the 60's although too late to appreciate them in a town called Basingstoke, England. I emigrated to Perth, Western Australia in 2004 and haven't looked back.

My true appreciation of art didn't start until I was in my 30's and it took me to 40 before my first attempt at painting. I quickly discovered that I loved it and haven't stopped since. I don't have any formal training, I just paint what I think and feel at the time and am constantly learning new techniques and applications. I enjoy the depths and effects that I create within my textured pieces which are very popular whether one piece or sets. There are many artists works that I enjoy and appreciate, but I have a great admiration for Jackson Pollock and find his pieces to be both mind boggling and inspirational.
