Lorraine Boogich, North Miami Beach Member Since September 2008 Artist Statement Born July 1982 in Queens, New York and raised in Florida the artistic style of Lorraine Boogich has been influenced by the urban east coast. From a young age she has been involved in the arts and entertainment.
Leading up to the completion of her Bachelor of Fine Arts Creative Photography degree from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL Lorraine also completed an Associate of Science degree in Film and Video at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL and studied Visual Effects and Motion Graphics at Miami International University.
Actively seeking to share her photographic visions while continuing to grow as an artist Lorraine Boogich stays involved in industry opportunities, events and is a member of the Luminos Collective. Taking part in the 2007 Society of Photographic Education's national conference led to national publication in the May/June 2007 issue of View Camera Magazine, local exhibitions and an article in the Spring 2008 issue of Barry Magazine. The Miami Herald recognized her with a front page article in December 2008.
