Terri Woodward, Southern California
Member Since September 2010
Artist Statement Terri Woodward was born in 1971 in a small town in California. She has been a Southern California resident most of her life, although some of her childhood years were spent in Washington state and Oregon. She was an only child, imaginative and artistic from an early age.

In 1990 she began attending the University of California. She graduated in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in studio art, focusing in drawing, ceramic sculpture, and painting. After graduating, she took a 12 year break from her artwork to instead focus on her family.

In the summer of 2006, she bought her first sketchbook in 12 years. She returned to her artwork with some small ceramic and epoxy sculptures, and began painting small portraits of children in February 2007. Two months after she began painting, she was honored for her work as "Star of the Week" by The Hollywood Globe, an online entertainment magazine. Her work has also been featured in Miasma Magazine in September 2007, Eclectic Fusion in November 2007, and Creepmachine on January 31, 2008. She has also been a featured artist at The Hive Gallery in Los Angeles and C.A.V.E. Gallery in Venice, California.
