Description BRIDALVEIL FALLS IN YOSEMITE, by Lynn Bauer - Bridalveil Falls takes center stage when viewed from the Tunnel View Overlook as you enter Yosemite National Park. There is nothing quite as breathtaking as the first time you exit that tunnel and encounter this incredible view! This is just one side of the valley as Bridalveil Falls spills down the granite slopes of rock, cascading into the valley below. In the distance, you get a glimpse of Half Dome. Spring is in full force, although is you look closely, you will see the slightest touch of snow on the tops of the mountains.Yosemite is located in California's Eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range and is part of three different counties...Tuolumne, Mariposa, & Madera counties, California. It is part of the John Muir Wilderness area and covers rugged country that is great for hiking and backpacking.
