Description Books, a white china cup, silver tea service, and an antique globe lamp adorn a table in an upstairs bedroom at the historic Lapham-Patterson house in Thomasville, Georgia. The three-story Victoian-style house, built in the 1880s as a wealthy Chicagoan's 'summer cottage,' is a monument to creative engineering and boasted many innovative features for its day, such as indoor plumbing with hot and cold running water. The house was declared a national historic landmark in 1975.
Ginny Schmidt, Tampa Bay area Member Since April 2007 Artist Statement Welcome to my galleries, and thank you for stopping by. Many of these images, and others not available on IK, can also be seen on redbubble (see link above), where artwork can be ordered in notecards and laminated or mounted prints, as well as wall art. Other wearable designs there are offered as tee shirts.
Update, Jan. 2010: My thanks to everyone who has stopped by to check out my art here, and apologies for not having been active on the IK site for a while. As I am limited to a single gallery and only a small number of images, I have been devoting my artistic efforts to redbubble -- see link.
In addition to RB, I also have an extensive selection of art now available on a wide variety of functional products, such as mugs, mouse pads, note cards and key chains, as well as wall art and would be honored for anyone to check out my store at zazzle dot com slash cricketnoel.
And for something completely different, please visit me at etsy dot com slash shop slash cricketnoel for unique handcrafted items made by yours truly, including beaded jewelry, handmade soaps, crocheted items, as well as a small number of art products available as note cards or small prints.
From time to time, I may come back to my ImageKind gallery, but in order to add a new image will require removing one or two existing pictures, so my activity here will be sporadic at best. However, I have no plans at present for deleting my gallery here, and please know that I really do appreciate everyone who has taken the time to come by. Thank you for your support.
