Description One of San Francisco's most popular attractions are the famed cable cars. The history of San Francisco's cable cars goes back to 1869, when Andrew Smith Hallidie, the owner of a wire-rope factory, build the first cable car in San Francisco. It took until 1873 before the first cabled streetcar started operations.
Vladimir Rayzman, Glenview IL Member Since April 2012 Artist Statement My interest in photography began during my high school days, and has continued throughout my life. Photography has given me the limitless freedom of self expression. My pictures are an attempt to capture beauty of natural world during dramatic moments when light and shadows, line and form, textures and colors combine to produce magical effects. My style is far from realistic or traditional.Releasing shutter of the camera is only the beginning. Each of my images is created in my digital darkroom. I spend many hours, fine-tuning my photographs, distilling reality into a personal vision. Certainly that does not excuse me from doing my best in taking a picture in the field. For me digital manipulation has become more than just methods to perform traditional darkroom adjustments, to make the image more appealing. I look at all of the techniques and methods as tools in my arsenal that allow me to fully realize and express my photographic and artistic vision. Please look images in my gallery I hope you enjoy them.
