Description This drawing was inspired by the Day of the Dead illustrations byJose Guadalupe Posada. Here is a 'calavera' or skeleton of Frida Kahlo with roses in her hair but she also reminds me of Posada's Catrina image with her mouth open in a smile as if she's laughing. This is a very colorful and detailed piece! It was originally an oil pastel drawing.
