Eka Kristan Member Since April 2008 Artist Statement Sketching is an important design phase. During the sketching process, for which I mainly use computer, I got experiences with different graphic's programs. This knowledge helps me at “playing” with objects in imaginary, fictional places where the perspective works or not works, where the shadows behave differently as we are used to or sometimes even on the same way. Mostly all the Grisha images (minus few exceptions) are made upon such a concept.
Now is one year and more than one month since I became a member of Imagekind Gallery. It is a time to add something new I guess. Because among all these pictures are also such which certain part of their eventual sell is donation for the cancer research I find hard to take them off. Therefore, those pictures will remain or they will be replaced with new pieces but again the same part of their price will be donated.
New pictures won’t be so geometric, op artistic, blackish :) and so homogenous by their style.
Mostly I will add different sketches, which were made by hand or with computer. I hope you will find at least one for which you will say, “I like it!” easily.
Thank you for visiting my gallery and do have a nice day!
