Description This was one of my earliest pictures, as you can probably tell. Yes, it's blurry, even at its full resolution, but I've always been fond of it nonetheless. I like the way the sliver of moon is sort of swinging like Poe's pendulum in the sky, and that shadowy figure on the boardwalk, who was he? There are stories all around us, all the time.
If you're considering purchasing a print of this photo, I recommend you select 'Photo Glossy' or 'Photo Luster' for the paper -- for a little extra, it gives photos a much richer look than the inexpensive Matte.
C McLaughlin, Southwest Florida Member Since November 2007 Artist Statement I got my first digital camera after Hurricane Charley breezed through my town and created a bunch of turmoil in my life. The camera gave me something creative with which to occupy my mind during that difficult time. I now spend a lot of my free moments wandering around taking pictures of sunsets and local wildlife.
I also publish a little photocomic that updates three times a week, so check out my site at www.cmcl.net to see more photos combined with offbeat conversations from my life.
