Description While traveling in Italy, the artist, Jane Siemonsma, took a polaroid of the old buildings, of which there are many. She enjoyed drawing and manipulating the emulsion to come up with the final image.
Jane Siemonsma, Napa, California Member Since March 2008 Artist Statement Thanks for your interest in my work. For relaxation, I like to photograph what inspires me, digitalize it and then see what I can do. Many of the images that you see in this gallery started out as Polaroid Manipulations that ended up in Photoshop. The images go through many layers of experimenting. It evolves as I work to make it...perfect? I'd probably still be playing with them if I didn't have other things to do.
