Russell Rice, Olympia, WA Member Since November 2006 Artist Statement Russell Rice was raised in the beautiful Puget Sound region of Washington State in the USA. After working five years as a technical writer, software trainer, programmer, and development coordinator in the medical software industry, he began his second career in the service of youth and the future of our world as a classroom teacher. He currently teaches lessons on life and literature to high school students at Steilacoom High School just south of Tacoma, WA. He photographs with a Minolta X-700, Canon Powershot S-500, and Panasonic Lumix.
