Praying For. . .(Wanting to Be Wanted)
I'm sick to death of being philosophical about loneliness, and I dont want to walk through this world alone anymore. I want to be somebodys baby, somebodys darling, someones beloved, somebodys rock, someones desire, to see the light in someones eyes in the morning when I kiss him awake, to know he will be there to hold me when life slaps back and leaves a bruise, to keep my arms open and words gentle when he needs to unburden himself, to give and take and take and give over and over in an endless river of sharing. I'm afraid. I'm so afraid it wont ever happen, that I will live the rest of my days unlit, unwarmed by the steady sun of someones love. They say you reap what you sow. Well, I dont think I have ever sown enough heartbreak to harvest the mantle of hurt I wear these dark days. Oh please let there be somebody. . . please let us find each other before the sun sinks deep behind the far western clouds. 2011 RC deWinter
