DescriptionI went skiing with some friends for New Years 2007. We stayed in Dillon, Colorado and skied at Breckenridge, Keystone, A-Basin, Vail, & Ski Cooper. (A-Basin is just down the road to the right) We took Wednesday off for some rest and went driving around. We went up to the continental divide and I took these shots for a future panoramic. I finally found a program I liked and had it stitch this together. Very surprised this turned out so well. It was taken with my old point and shoot Kodak Easyshot 4.2 MP (I think, can't remember anymore).7 photo's stitched using Panofactory
Michael Troeger, Little Rock Member Since April 2008 Artist Statement I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. I am an Intern Architect at Wittenberg, Delony, & Davidson Architects, Inc. in Little Rock. Have been working and living down here since May '06.
I have a really great close group of friends who have introduced me to many new things and people and they have made these past few years in the Rock very enjoyable and I cannot thank them enough for it.
So I've been interested in photography for a really long time, but I hadn't made the commitment of buying some good equipment until about August 2007. Since then I've pretty much taken my camera everywhere with me (to the dismay of some of my friends). It is really fun to learn new techniques and look at the world differently. It is quite similar to the way I was before Architecture school and after, just looking at life differently. I am purely an Amateur photographer. One of my friends has helped me out a lot. About the same time my brother has made the leap forward in equipment as well, so we are both having a good time learning and moving forward, although it seams like we aren't moving forward very quickly yet. I love looking around at all the interesting work people have on flickr...it really helps get my creative juices flowing. Keep up the good work all, 'peace and happiness forever'.
