Artist Statement I have always appreciated a good quote;
one that motivates me in some way for the rest of the day,
one that makes me jot it down on a piece of scrap paper
or tear out of a magazine or highlight without hesitation.

Thoreau wrote:
[A written word is the choicest of relics. It is something at once more intimate with us and more universal than any other work of art. It is the work of art nearest to life itself.]

Collecting quotes has been a long time enjoyment/passion of mine. My children are older and moved from home, my husband is a designer and contractor, see: www.2stonepg.com.

I work full time as a dialysis tech, but have not stopped collecting and typo graphying my favorite quotes.

Cathie Black has said, "If you're convinced your idea is a good one...sell your idea. If you don't-who will?" So here goes...

Thank you for visiting my gallery.

p.s. the real professional/talented one is my oldest daughter, a photographer in Dallas, TX. Visit: carissabyers.blogspot.com
