Description Crater Lake at sunset. Mt. McLoughlin at 9945 feet hides on the horizon. The deepest lake in the United States formed by in the caldera of Mt. Mazama a volcano that blew its top many, many years ago.

My passion is the beauty of God's creations on this wonderful earth. I am constantly chasing the light from The PAcific NW to the Desert SW and down to Australia in search of images that best capture the beauty of the moment. All my images here are captured in digital format from 6mp with most at 21.5 mp on the Canon 5DMKII using the finest optics and filters I can find.
