Description Why is 'strom' in parentheses after in the name of this picture? Well, as almost anyone can tell you, 'strom' is the Czech way of saying 'tree.' Please understand that I am being very, very facetious when I say that 'anyone can tell you.' Of the languages that I've either studied or been significantly exposed to (English - well, duh... - Latin, Japanese, Russian, German, French, Arabic, and Czech), Czech has probably been the most difficult for me to grasp, despite what was a two year relationship, with a wonderful young woman, Eva Kulata from Kadan, that I met at a castle not far from this tree. The road in the picture leads to that castle, named Hauenstejn, where I met her on a rainy day in May, 2005.
Have a good day. I thank you if you've decided to buy a print or framed version of this digital photo.
