Description At approximately 01:30 EDT on Wednesday 4/23/03, CSXT train K277-22 was southbound from the New York area on the CSX Trenton Subdivision when the crew noticed tires and other debris placed on the tracks around the Neshaminy Falls SEPTA R-3 Regional Rail station in Bucks County , Pennsylvania. The derailed cars struck 2 SEPTA catenary poles, taking out the overhead power source for the Septa Regional Rail Trains. The derailment also blocked the Septa R-3 Commuter Rail Line. There were no injuries, and no hazardous materials in any of the affected cars. There is a problem in the area with vandals placing debris on the tracks. It took several days to restore full service to the Septa R-3 West Trenton Line.
Stan Feldman, Philadelphia Member Since August 2007 Artist Statement I have been a railfan as long as I can remember, growing up near the (NEC) Pennsylvania Railroad, watching the GG-1s move an endless parade of trains. Being near the Reading Company Frankford Branch, I spent hours in The Summerdale Station with the Stationmaster and Clerk, and riding in the Baldwin Switcher to the end of the Branch at the Frankford Station.
I served 4 years in the United States Coast Guard, including one year in Vietnam.
I have done many types of Photography. My Images have been published in many Newspapers and Magazines, and I have done work for several Legal Firms.
PHOTOGRAPHY IS FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
