Description Distortion Disco is a window into an imaginary world inside a dance club in a fictional place and time. In this world where reality is a fantastic creation of distorted and disjointed exaggerations glamor, beauty, fame and fierceness. The ultra-ornate interior of the Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg, Russia founded in 1764 by Catherine the Great represents the ultimate Aristocratic aesthetic as a backdrop. In the foreground an airbrushed digital illustration of Michelle Pfeiffer as she appeared in 'Scarface' was chosen because her sense of style in that movie is one of the most glamorous and beautiful characters she played at the height of her Hollywood career. There are six of her, with lazer beams shooting out of her eyes into a fanciful disco ball explosion of hysterical glamour that I find so appealing.
