Description I painted Death Bryte specifically for a friend. The flower and star shapes that makeup the background was inspired by a cell phone case she was using. At the time I was spending a lot of thought on the sugar skulls from the Mexican festival Day of the Dead. I tend to stick to darker images and muted colors, but my fascination with these sugar skulls made a window where all these fantastic and neon colors could come through. The name was inspired by one of my favorite Acid Bath songs. The original is on canvas panel, done in acrylic, and finished with glitter and rhinestones. The original is currently not for sale. Thank you for looking.
Jessica Cline, Logansport Member Since July 2010 Artist Statement From the beginning of my life art has been the cornerstone of who I am. I am 24 years old now, a single mother of one, current art student, and have been (more-so last summer) essentially a starving artist. I love all things dark and disturbing as well as things sacred and fragile. Please comment freely, and every purchase goes towards funding the future of my daughter and me. Thank you!
