Cynthia Barlow, Tequesta, Florida Member Since May 2007 Artist Statement I am a Certified Wildlife Biologist through the Wildlife Society and an environmental consultant. I have a Bachelors of Sceince in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida. My photographs are taken while on site visits as an environmental consultant, and also during weekend visits to local state parks and while out on our boat. I live in sunny south Florida which gives me plenty of beautiful photographic opportunities. I have numerous photos which I have enlarged and framed. These make beautiful centerpieces in a room either over a couch or mantel. I also have numerous photographs of rare endangered species such as the Audubon's crested caracara, snail kite, indigo snake, gopher tortoise, Southeastern American kestrel, and bald eagle.
Some of my favorites are of the Loxahatchee River. It is so peaceful and serene. The majestic cypress are so beautifull and very rare these days.
