Description This is a photo taken in the,'Japanese Garden in Portland OR'. Is a magical and peaceful place. In person the garden looks simple but in photos it has so many layers of textures it makes the photos look busy. My husband says that is the Japanese way. This photo is of a lantern and water feature tucked under some majestic Cedar Trees..Photos were taken with my Evolt 510 camera.

My work explores the relationship between Trompe l'oeil and surreal Abstracts. With influences as diverse as Leonardo da Vinci and Buckminster Fuller, new variations are generated from both explicit and implicit dialogues.
Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by the theoretical limits of all Art.
What starts out as vision soon becomes contemporaneously into a hegemony of wild abandonment, leaving only a sense of peace or chaos with the stroke of a pen and with the likelihood of a new reality.
As wavering derivatives become clarified or distorted through diligent and critical practice, depending on my mood, the viewer is left with a new agenda of dream like thoughts or questions of our condition.
Art should always be fun and experimental.
