Description This was the first photograph I took when arriving to Antartica. The wide-angle view doesn't give justice to scale -- the mountains towered above us when came in closer! -- but it does compress the breathtaking view I experienced.Photograph taken 03-Jan-05.

I have been making photographs for a little over a decade, with time spent in both film and digital arenas. For five years or so I dabbled in graphic and web design, although those pursuits are less emphasized today. My current work flow is entirely digital. I shoot a Canon 1Ds Mark II with various lenses, lights, filters, and tripods. My favorite genres are landscape and portrait photography, with focus on the subtleness and beauty in detail. I also do events including weddings, macro photography, stock photography and am proficient in composed or candid environments.
More photos will be coming online as I have time to post them... stay tuned! Comments and email are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
