Artist Statement I am a 40 something (very) amateur photographer. I have only really started taking "serious" pics in the past few months and my greatest ambition is to be a professional photographer! My favorite medium is black & white photography and I enjoy the still-life compositions I do of historical and antiquated subjects. I also love to take photos (usually in high-color) of flowers, insects & other subjects in nature and really enjoy editing my photos for a "fantasy" effect. I have my own philosophy that "Every subject is a story waiting to be told; we just need to be more observant or we'll miss the plot."
