Description This is not your typical fine art print. It is a moment of nature, raw and unaltered, as it happened. A moment that this coyote discovered that a bald eagle can be a fierce and powerful adversary. Not for everyone, but for those who appreciate rare glimpses into the natural world.
Alan Sachanowski, Montana Member Since October 2008 Artist Statement I'm Alan, and I have a passion for America's wild and beautiful places. I am blessed to live in the Northern Rockies where I have found inspiration for my photographs for over three decades.
My father gave me my first camera when I was eight years old. It was an old Poloroid that he picked up at a local pawn shop. My first images were of animals at the local zoo. I was hooked! I saved every penny that I could earn doing odd jobs around the neighborhood and bought my first 35mm SLR. My love of hiking, backpacking and wildlife melded perfectly with my love of the camera, and has led to a lifetime of long, but enjoyable, days in the field.
I enjoy sharing my photographs and hopefully, in doing so, also my reverance and deep respect for the untamed beauty of the Rocky Mountains and for each and every creature that lives there.
