Description My work is ethereal. I do not begin with any set ideas most of the time I just get a feeling that I should paint and I begin. This painting had a concept that ultimately expressed itself. This painting changed over 6 years while the subject (my relationship with my wife, The connection we had) manifested itself as an embrace with the matter and energy of our beings merging during the embrace. This image is a detal from the central portion of the canvas located behind my wife's soul. I began this painting in 1997 as a Christmas present for my wife and it ended up an aniversary present for her in 2002.
