DescriptionThat's our cruise ship in the distance. Ours was one of several in port that day. Location: Grand Cayman. The government here won't allow ships to drop anchor because they are working hard to protect the reefs around their islands. Therefore, all the ships are held in position by using thrusters and computer controls to keep them in their designated location. Access to and from shore was by tender.
Paul Brackley, Chicago Member Since May 2007 Artist Statement I've been a serious photographer for nearly 40 years. I particularly enjoy "creating" works of art with my camera, but find that today's digital tools really extend my creativity. HDR processing and other image-manipulation programs are real interests of mine, and even though I've created some surreal images, my favorites are those that leave the viewer wondering, "How'd he do that?"
