Fiery Red Nail Polish, Edit C, is one of my macro, Cosmetics Art Photographs.
Some nail polish has a certain, wonderful fiery-hot luster to it. I was thinking: What if the color is not only hot (as in "cool"), but if the polish was temperature-hot as well how would it come out of the little container, and what may it look like? That being the question, I decided to make it appear vaporous and physical at the same time, like substance that disappears as it rolls off the brush. It may not be the best type of nail polish to put on your nails...don't worry...it's just Cosmetics Art.
When I pick up my camera...when I compose the subjects in the frame...and, when I plan and set up my lighting, I have one thing in mind: To take a better photograph than the last time.
I have been using a camera as a hobbyist, and then as a freelance professional (starting in 1998), for a total of 39 years: I started photography when I was 12-years old.
I specialize in commissioned Head-Shot Portraits, Photographs of People, and Fine Art Abstract Expressionism Photography. I also create and design fine art, abstract photographs of my own abstract expressionism paintings. As a painter, I love working with alcohol-based permanent ink, acrylic paints, and watercolour pencils.
