Artist Statement I LOVE ART! I have been creating art all my life. So, since becoming a full-time artist was always my dream, I recently left my job and regular paycheck in the dust and dove headfirst into that dream.

My original modern artwork is created with a palette knife and brush, using oils and acrylics, on gallery-wrapped canvas. I create textured, metallic and abstract paintings of flowers, animals, landscapes, Asian trees, dragonflies, and Steampunk. My prints will not have texture. I absolutely love taking a blank canvas and giving it color, texture, and life.

I am also a photographer of architecture, landscape, and sculpture.

Ideas, and inspiration, come from my travels. I have visited many cities within the States, Europe, and South America, continually inspired by the architecture, people, and incredible beauty of each culture.

My name is Jaclyn Miller, born in Seattle, WA, received degrees in Fine Art and Psychology in New York, and living in beautiful Seattle once again.

Thank you very much for taking a look at my artwork. Please enjoy!
