Artist Statement I enjoy traveling, not to fancy resort-like places, but to real places where I can learn about and mix with the people. I also have a strong interest in social change and humanitarian causes. There are so many people in the world that live in a state of poverty or close to it, and so many others that live in such wealth that are oblivious to the other half. I think this situation needs to be corrected, and the first step is education. Photography can play a big part in that education because it brings us closer to the subject in a manner that we can understand.

I'm also a web and software developer, a husband, and a runner.
