“Graffiti on an Alien World, v.7, Edit C,” is the standalone antithesis of the “Alien Water” series. I wanted there to be a shocking example in the “Alien Water” Series of a 'Water-Poor' planet.
The huge stone wall stands as a tribute to many alien species that have visited this planet. These alien visitors have used their Art, as the universal language (in my humble opinion), to leave their message behind for others to find. Some of the graffiti is complicated and other samples are simple and child-like. Some have left print marks behind, perhaps as signs of their particular species. Others have left detailed astronomical maps showing planet locations, maybe giving others a clue to their home world location. The Earthlings who visited this world, have left what appears to be a flag painting, with the simple, and perhaps arrogant statement, that “Earth Rocks!” All of the beings who have visited this planet may be different; however, one thing they have in common is that they didn't find any water on this burnt up planet. This planet should have served as a warning to all these beings, what happens when destruction of the environment occurs.

When I pick up my camera...when I compose the subjects in the frame...and, when I plan and set up my lighting, I have one thing in mind: To take a better photograph than the last time.
I have been using a camera as a hobbyist, and then as a freelance professional (starting in 1998), for a total of 37 years: I started photography when I was 12-years old.
I specialize in commissioned Head-Shot Portraits, Photographs of People, and Fine Art Abstract Expressionism Photography. I also create and design fine art, abstract photographs of my own abstract expressionism paintings. As a painter, I love working with alcohol-based permanent ink, acrylic paints, and watercolour pencils.
