Nothing is more challenging and interesting to paint than the human face.


A good portrait is one of the most difficult thing for an artist to achieve successfully.

Not only must the artist get an accurate likeness, but you must also create a good painting.

The artist must convey a subject's character, spirit, and personality. It takes part artistry, part draftsmanship, and a whole lot of psychology to make a great portrait .




This is why I love portraits.

I love seeing them and I have a passion to create them. I could paint for the next five hundred years and still be enriched by each soul I immortalize in a Fine Art Portrait.
