Oil and tire marks appear on streets and sweeping landscapes. Silent objects and vistas come alive with their own voice as I project memory, association and metaphor to them. Childhood and adolescence travelling back in and out of Latin America, and learning to settle and root in Dallas, Texas. Melancholic joy, sadness and apathy. These are some of the emotional places I've tried to photograph.
