Current Gallery: Sailing ( piece)
Sailing has always been important to me and cyberart has helped expand my nautical horizons. These images were produced by computer using POV-Ray for raytracing. Two of them incorporate photographic images: the skies in SunsetCruise #1 & #2 are from my wife's photographs taken off Costa Rica. Several, like the one called Twins, were inspired by Lyonel Feininger's use of intersecting light beams. See, for example, Feininger's Barfusserkirche (1924) in the ImageKind collection. Many of the images in this gallery can be seen (and even purchased!) at the George Burr Gallery in Ephraim, Wisconsin.
